The under -17 football team and the Sports Ministry,  deserve congratulations for qualifying for the final  after beating Ivory Coast 1-0 on Wednesday.

Their enthusiasm is much better compared to the senior national team. I believe it’s the establishment of the soccer Academy which has boosted performance.

The selection and preparation of the team is worth commending the coach for.

The quality of the players is admirable and their coordination on the pitch was just wonderful to watch.

More blue prints to develop the game should be crafted. It seems the junior team has a bright future ahead.
