BRALIRWA, the official sponsor of the Primus National Football League is set to dish out monthly awards for the league’s best players.

According to the local football governing body, Ferwafa, the purpose of the awards is to increase competitiveness in the league.

The best players will be determined by a panel made up of Primus league referees, match commissioners and a selected number of local journalists.

In a press release, Alexander Koch, Bralirwa’s Commercial Director said, "Through this new scheme, Bralirwa is demonstrating its commitment to further develop the standards of the national league,”

"As the 2011 season unfolds, Bralirwa along with its partner Ferwafa will seek to explore new avenues as part of the 3-year  sponsorship deal in order to  engage the fans, the clubs and other stakeholders in a way that has never been done before”, the press release read in part.
