Didace Niyifasha is one of the renowned sports journalists in the country. He is attached to Radio 10.

I wake up at 5a.m and immediately switch on my laptop to check sports stories making headlines locally, regional and internationally. I then make interpretations to Kinyarwanda. In this, I am preparing for the brief sports news at 8a.m.
By 6a.m, I am on my way to work. When I get to office, I watch certain sports channels that broadcast sports highlights.

By 8a.m, I am in the studios reading sports in brief. Thereafter, I prepare for the sports news that is aired at 12p.m.

After the news, I then have to plan for the next day. This involves attending press conferences and trainings at different playgrounds.

In the afternoon, I make connections with various personalities in sports; interview them on various issues of importance.

In the evening, I watch international games and after I make summaries of the games.

I sometimes also do research on famous international players for my listeners.

My personal work goes on until 11p.m, then I have supper and get to bed after a night prayer.
