This week’s issue is as exciting as always, especially with a great man of style, devotion, and vocals, Ezra Kwizera, gracing our cover.

In an interview, Kwizera takes us through his musical journey and reveals why he has not lost his voice yet and why he founded a charity organisation.

Kwizera, 32, is a Rwandan gospel artiste based in Canada. He is the founder of Narrow Road records and Narrow Road Ministries, a non-profit organisation which supports orphans of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

Narrow Road records, is one of the local record studios that have attained the coveted platinum status, by producing quality music.

His background and past experience plays a huge role in how he handles people, especially needy children.
"I grew up in a similar situation –I initiated the organisation to help orphans achieve a better future,” Kwizera said. "I facilitate them with scholastic materials, food, clothes and other necessities.”

As a dedicated Christian, Kwizera is not ashamed about working for God. He has been in praise and worship choirs for more than 10 years, in Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, the United States and Canada.

He recently concluded training in films in Vancouver, Canada and plans to team up with local filmmakers to improve the country’s movie industry.

Kwizera stars in ‘Smallvillee’ and ‘The Visitor’, alongside famous international film stars, such as, Michael London, Mary Jane Skalski, Danai Jekesai Gurira.
His face lights up as he talks about how important his family is to him and the fact that they are the most precious thing in his life.

"I’m married to a beautiful woman, Mona Kwizera and we’re blessed with son called John Werner Kwizera,” he says.
"I am so proud of my family and thankful to God for what He is doing in my life.”

The singer/actor is currently in the country on vacation, as he prepares for his tour in South Africa, US, among other countries.
