Editor,
As the government promotes modern cattle farming, there is need to set up artificial insemination centres in several districts. This would help farmers improve their livestock, especially for dairy products.
It would also improve household income for the farmers. Currently, farmers seeking artificial insemination can approach veterinary officials in selected towns, but this is not enough as the services are far from most remote livestock farms.
