CAF women qualifiers: AS Kigali to face Simba Queens in semis

AS Kigali WFC will face Simba Queens in the semi-finals of the CAF Women's Champions league qualifiers after finishing second in Group B.
The Rwandan champions progressed to the knock-outs with six points, out of a possible nine points, following a 2-0 loss to Ethiopian side, Commercial Bank FC.
After AS Kigali put up a strong defensive display in the first half, Commercial Bank broke the deadlock in the 59th minute through Abera Loza, before Medina Busser doubled their lead in the 70th minute.
The City of Kigali women sponsored team takes on Tanzania's Simba Queens in the last four on Wednesday, while Commercial Bank hosts She Corporates of Uganda.
The semi-final winners will meet in the final later this week, with the ultimate victor automatically securing a ticket to represent the Cecafa region in the 2022 Caf Women's Champions League.
