US-based Rwandan music label, The Creative Genius, also known as TCG has started a weekly podcast to talk about different topics, mostly on music. Dubbed ‘Feed Your Focus’, the podcast aims at inspiring this generation to follow their dreams and tips on how to overcome obstacles based on other people’s testimony.

TCG is a group of artists, performers, producers and videographers. Founded by Pacific Jabiro and Jean-Paul Muhumuza, their vision is to work all over the world having first introduced it in USA, Rwanda and Canada.

Talking about how they connect music to the podcast, Jabiro said that music is the foundation of their work as artistes, it is their main channel of sharing their message to the world and more especially their fans.

‘Starve your distractions feed your focus’ as the motto, the podcast is to encourage us to achieve our vision which is development and help others to achieve it. Our vision is to keep inspiring our generation and unite people from around the world through arts and music on the podcast. Any person with a focus has to feed it to succeed; a focus is like a flower it needs watering for it to bloom,” said Jabiro.

Those who have achieved some of their dreams will share life stories of how they made it to where they are.

A part from music, the podcast also talks about other life topics like mental health and business among others, with guests from around the world discussing how they feed their focus. The podcast can be streamed on Spotify, apple music, YouTube, Amazon and all streaming platforms.

TCG started in 2015 in USA by Jay Pac and works with artistes like Mabuye, Survivor B.O.G, Jokeri and Jay Pac. Their music is fused with hip hop, Afro beats and a little taste of pop music.
