It was recent when I approached a house broker at Kisementi in Remera, seeking a house to rent. I insisted that I wanted a good house and ambiance was very vital to me.

The young man, in his 20s, accepted to show me around claiming that he knew where affordable, and houses of my choice are located.

However, to my disappointment, he directed me to shanty houses! I didn’t pick interest in any, but to my surprise, he asked me to meet his transport cost. Could this be the behaviour of all that lot?
