Local R&B singer, Miss JoJo, real name Uwineza Josiane, on Saturday night, thrilled a huge number of fans who thronged Club Rouge in Kampala, Uganda.

The fans, most of them Rwandans based in Uganda, began streaming into the venue as early as 9 p.m to catch every moment of Miss JoJo’s performance.

The star was invited by Club Rouge, which organises the monthly ‘Rwanda Night’ in Kampala.

After collaborating with some of the East Africa’s big names, including DNG from Kenya (Siwezi) and Michael Ross of Uganda (Hooked On You), Miss JoJo is fast rising to stardom.

The award-winning songster was also among key performers at the just-concluded Tusker Project Fame 4’s semi-finals.

Especially famous for her ‘Beletilida’ hit, the 28-year-old singer is expected to perform in Belgium next month.
