Canadian – based - Rwandan gospel artiste, Ezra Kwizera, has concluded an intensive training in movies, from the City of Vancouver, Canada. The afro-hairstyle star told The New Times that the training helped him to gain professional skills in film. He intends to team up with local filmmakers to improve the country’s film industry.
Canadian – based - Rwandan gospel artiste, Ezra Kwizera, has concluded an intensive training in movies, from the City of Vancouver, Canada.
The afro-hairstyle star told The New Times that the training helped him to gain professional skills in film. He intends to team up with local filmmakers to improve the country’s film industry.
Kwizera said: "I haven’t quit music. After realizing that our film industry was at low standards, I decided to enroll and train so that I could bring skills in the industry.”
The 37-year-old star, best known for his hit, ‘Nimwiza Yesu’, explained that, for one to be recognised as an actor in the Western film industry, must have trained in film.
The ‘Call On M’ singer starred in movies ‘Smallvillee’ and ‘The Visitor’, along with internationally renowned film stars Michael London, Mary Jane Skalski, Danai Jekesai Gurira.
Kwizera owns an international agency called Local Colour Company in Canada.
The singer/actor is currently in the country on vacation, as he prepares for his tour in South Africa, US, among other countries.
