IVORY Coast and Congo Brazzaville are expected to jet in today, 48 hours before the official kick-off of the 9th U-17 Africa Nations Cup.

The West Africans will touch down aboard Ethiopia Airlines while Congo Brazzaville who knocked out three time world champions Nigeria at the qualifying stage, fly in aboard Kenya Airways.

Upon arrival, the teams will be transported to Rubavu, the venue for all Group B games.

Mali and defending champions Gambia complete the group.
On paper, Gambia and 1997 losing finalists Mali, are favorites to reach the semi-finals.

Ivory Coast qualified after beating Sierra Leone 4-2 while Congo Brazzaville raised eyebrows after seeing off two-time African champions on goal aggregates (3-1).

Group B action starts on Sunday when Gambia takes on Congo Brazzaville before another clash between Mali and Ivory Coast.

The top two in each group are guaranteed a spot at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico.
