Saturday
Gorilla FC vs AS Kigali
Police FC vs Mukura VS
Etincelles FC vs Espoir FC
Sunrise FC vs Marines FC
Under-fire Andre Casa Mbungo will be looking to bring his AS Kigali side back to winning ways as the club seeks to bounce back from recent slip ups ahead of Saturday’s league clash against Gorilla FC at Bugesera Stadium.
AS Kigali are winless in their last two league games, having suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Police before Rwamagana pulled another surprise 1-0 victory against them during match day 18.
Mbungo admits the latest defeats were a good wake-up call for his side as he calls his men to make a quick turnaround of results in the next games, starting with Gorilla, if they are to stay in the title race.
"Every team is strong in this league, so we need to be cautious and more focused in the next games. I can guarantee our supporters that we will do our best in the game against Gorilla,” Mbungo said.
"We have to keep working hard and make sure that we create chances that will help us become dangerous in front of goal. After losing to Rwamagana City and Police FC, we want to bounce back today. I want players to not only get three points but also give a good performance,” he added.
AS Kigali are fourth on the table with 33 points and victory in Nyamata on Saturday would see them just a point shy of league leaders APR who host Rayon Sports in a derby that takes place Sunday at Huye Stadium.
Elsewhere, Police FC host Mukura VS, Etincelles FC take on Espoir FC at Umuganda Stadium while Marine FC travel to Nyagatare to face Sunrise FC.
