RTF names six for ITF tourney
SIX players have been summoned to the national team ahead of this year’s ITF/CAT East Africa tennis championship in Bujumbura, Burundi. Hamisi Gatete and Giselle Umumararungu will lead Rwanda’s surge in the U-16 category, Olive Tuyisenge (U-14), Olivier Nsengiyumva (U-15) while Jules Ndibwami and Ernest Habiyambere will compete in the U-13 category.

SIX players have been summoned to the national team ahead of this year’s ITF/CAT East Africa tennis championship in Bujumbura, Burundi.
Hamisi Gatete and Giselle Umumararungu will lead Rwanda’s surge in the U-16 category, Olive Tuyisenge (U-14), Olivier Nsengiyumva (U-15) while Jules Ndibwami and Ernest Habiyambere will compete in the U-13 category.
The technical director of the local tennis federation (RTF) Thierry Ntwali has confirmed that Rwanda will compete with nine other countries and that the top performers will qualify for the 2010 Africa Junior Championship (AJC) in Egypt.
