EMERY Bayisenga does not expect home pressure to work against Rwanda in the upcoming Caf U-17 Nations Cup. The Junior Wasps captain watered down suggestions that the youngsters would be under immense pressure to impress the home crowd.

"There is no pressure at all in the dressing room. We are enjoying ourselves and looking forward to Saturday’s game,” Bayisenga said.

The junior wasps open their Group A campaign this Saturday against Burkina Faso at the 25,000 seater Amahoro stadium. Senegal and Egypt complete the group. On the other hand, Group B pits defending champions Gambia against Congo Brazzaville, Ivory Coast and Mali.

Mali, Senegal and Burkina Faso are already in the country while Gambia and Congo Brazzaville are expected to arrive this afternoon.

With the top two in each group guaranteed a spot at next year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico, Tardy is desperate to rewrite history by becoming the first coach to guide a Rwandan side to the World Cup.
