KIGALI - SC. Kiyovu will be looking to edge closer to run away Primus National Football League table leaders APR with a win over Mukura in Huye, Southern Province this afternoon.
The Nyamirambo based side is eight points adrift of champions, APR but coach Jean Marie Ntagwabira is optimistic the military side will at some stage (in the season) have to go through a difficult period, though he concedes that his former club are still favorites.
"We will continue to push them (APR) all the way. They are favorites but every club hits a snag at some point in the league, it is imperative that we continue winning our matches,” the former APR and Atraco coach said.
Rayon Sports will also be looking to move up the league table with a win over Amagaju in Nyamagabe. The blues are currently in 5th position, a whopping 14 points behind leaders APR.
In today’s other matches, third-placed Etincelles face AS Kigali, bottom side Muhanga takes on Musanze, while Marines, who second from bottom play against La Jeunesse.
