Euphraze Mukankuranga, a former and former primary teacher, developed great courage, to change profession and lifestyle, when she started full time farming.

Euphraze Mukankurangaa is a resident of Kanziga cellule in Nzige sector of Rwamagana district.

The today’s exemplary farmer in the district and the Eastern Province Mukankuranaga, says she earns 100 times more than what she used to earn, when she was a teacher.

The mixed farmer has over 4 hectares of banana plantation, maize fields, cassava gardens, Friesian cows, a shop, vegetable gardens, etc.

Her income has helped her educate children and needy relatives. She says the sky will be limit. 

She was ranked the best woman farmer in the Province.
