Rehoboth Ministries, a local gospel choir, last weekend, launched its fifth album of 11 singles.

It was the group’s first album following its dismissal from Restoration Church.

The concert started at 7p.m with the group’s hit ‘Dutegereje umunsi’, which enthralled audience.

The choir bedazzled the crowd with the renditions of its songs ‘Uri Imana ihambaye’ and ‘Urera Mana’.

Present at the concert were several high-ranking government officials and religious leaders, among others.
Speaking at the event, the Minister of Culture and Sports, Joseph Habineza noted that Rehoboth Ministries had a considerable responsibility of helping build the country, by preaching the gospel through music.

He asked Rwandans to respect copyright.

Douglas Kigabo, the president of Rehoboth, said that the group is preparing a countrywide tour.

Rehoboth was initiated in 1994 in Restoration Church, but is currently under Well Salvation Church. The group has released 57 singles, which have enjoyed massive airtime on local airwaves.
