VETERAN athlete Dieudonné Disi has promised to nurture young athletes after being voted 2nd vice president of the Rwanda Athletics Federation (RAF). The 30-year-old told Times Sport that he will get more clinics for coaches and ensure that athletes going for regional and international competitions get enough preparations.

The 30-year-old told Times Sport that he will get more clinics for coaches and ensure that athletes going for regional and international competitions get enough preparations.
"I was influenced by my colleagues to contest for this position and being a former athlete, I know firsthand the doldrums faced by athletes,” Disi said, adding, "my goal is to identify and develop young athletes, get more clinics for coaches and ensure athletes get thorough preparations before competing in regional and international competitions.”
The France based athlete also revealed that he would retire after the 2012 London Olympic Games.
The new RAF executive also includes Gerald Ntare (President), Louis Rurangirwa (1st Vice President), Constantin Twajamahoro (Secretary General), Nadine Mutezinkindi (Treasurer) and Epimaque Nzeyimana (Advisor).
