Riderman’s concert, during which he launched his second album ‘Impindura matwara’, marked the singer’s major comeback with hits such as ‘Umwana w’Umuhanda’, ‘Inkuba’ and ‘Nyigisha.’

Groups such as Family Squad, Urban Boys and Dream Boys did not disappoint either. Uncle Austin and many other artistes were equally on hand. They all staged grand concerts that captivated their fans.

On the gospel scene, the likes of Patrick Nyamitari, Faysal Ngeruka and Diane Nkusi each hosted terrific concerts, and released inspiring spiritual hits. We can only expect a lot more come 2011.

Notably, 2010 was also a year of compassion, with concerts dedicated to the ‘Bye-bye Nyakatsi’ project raising funds to build modern housing for the poor.
