BURUNDIAN gospel maestro, Apollinaire Habonimana, on Thursday night, performed an electrifying concert and sent his fans in a typical Christmas mood.

At the entrance, patrons were ushered into Amahoro Stadium’s cultural room, by famous local gospel artists, including Gaby Kamanzi and Aline Gahongayire.

Being a mentor to most local gospel artists, Apollinaire treated his fans to a three-hour non-stop live concert.
His greatest moment, however, was when he spiced up the show with his saxophone skills.

Apolinaire played the saxophone more easily, yet with authority and you could see that everyone was captivated by its rhythmic sound.

Backed up by his ministry, Shemeza, the combination was great with powerful, endearing and well delivered performances.

In yet another pleasant bolt from the blue, local gospel artist, Aime Uwimana, joined the music master on stage to perform.

His delivery of ‘Urwibutso’ was energetic and he managed to drive the crowd wild with unique vocals.

Appolinaire is a songwriter, singer and performer, and has recorded various praise and worship songs, which have gone on to inspire the transformation of multitudes of people, both Christians and non-Christians.
