GROOMING young players is the key to developing table tennis in the country according to local table tennis federation development officer Celestin Nzeyimana.

Nzeyimana made the remark during a recent table tennis competition for students at Maison de Jeune in Kimasagara.

"Our focus is to develop young players through organizing many competitions in the country. We plan to incorporate the sport in next year’s post primary schools competitions,” Nzeyimana said.

Presently, there are ten clubs in the country and they include: Esperance, Rafiki, Inkuru zina, UNR, Remera, Delta, BNR, Nzuki, Kibogora, Police, and I-Sport.
