CHAMPIONS APR will test themselves against Uganda’s top sides as part of their preparation for the 2011 Orange Champions League.

According to the club’s Secretary General Adolphe Kalisa, the champions will play against Ugandan champions Bunamwaya, Express and SC Villa.

"We are yet to confirm the dates but the team will set off mid January when the league is in recess,” Kalisa said before confirming that the club’s new signings Joseph Bwalya, Kipson Atuheire and midfielder Johnson Bagoole will all feature in the second half of the Primus National Football League.

The trio joined the club in the off season but is yet to feature in a competitive game following delays in acquiring International transfer certificates from their respective clubs.

Last season, APR landed a record 11th league title. The club has also enjoyed a bright start this season after winning their opening six games.
