Local R&B singer, King James is to launch his debut album ‘Umugisha’ on Christmas Eve. The hitmaker, real name James Ruhumuriza, has promised his fans a grand concert on the widely celebrated holiday, commemorating the birth of Jesus of Nazareth.

Local R&B singer, King James is to launch his debut album ‘Umugisha’ on Christmas Eve.

The hitmaker, real name James Ruhumuriza, has promised his fans a grand concert on the widely celebrated holiday, commemorating the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. King James’s album is composed of 12 tracks, including his widely played tracks, ‘Naratomboye’, ‘Nzakubona ryari’, ‘Kuko turi kumwe’, ‘Mana ikomeye’, ‘Ijanisha’, ‘Umugisha’, ‘Harabura iki’, and ‘Inzozi.’

"I just want to wish all my fans a merry Xmas and prosperous 2011,” King James said.

"Without you, I'm nothing... I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. You'll hear more from me soon,” he added.

The concert will start at 4pm till midnight, and the entrance fee will be Rwf3000 and Rwf5000 for VIP.
Famous local musicians, including Kitoko, J. Pole and The Brothers will also perform to grace the concert.
