THE National Under-17 League is set to kick off next Saturday, according to the National Football Federation Chief Executive Officer Jules Kalisa.
The junior league was supposed to have started in October, but was postponed due to the big number of teams that signed up that needed more logistics.
"We had to postpone the league because more logistics were needed. But all that is ready and the championship is ready to go,” said Kalisa, who declined to reveal whether there is a sponsor for the league.
"I cannot confirm that at the moment, but we shall update you soon,” the Ferwafa CEO said.
Thirty-six clubs will take part in the league, and they will be placed in five groups.
