Editor,

This letter is in reference to your artcicle in yesterday’s edition of your newspaper entitled "Rwandan troupe wins regional cultural competition.”

I was delighted to read how well the Rwandan troupe performed, outbeating hot favourites Kenya and Uganda, in an event held over the weekend in Kampala, Uganda.

Rwanda scoring 91% in dance and continued to shine with 83% in songs which is very impressive and encouraging. I know more great things are yet to know.

My congratulations go out to Jacqueline Umulisa, the head of Indatirwabahizi and her talented team on their great performance.

While Rwanda has been shining on the economic front, with trade and commerce reaching new heights and security, it is very encouraging and satisfying to know that the Rwandan flag is also flying high when it comes to cultural competitions.

Wishing Jacqueline and her troupe every success in the New Year and looking forward to seeing the Indatirwabahizi in the city of Mumbai very soon. We are proud of and keep the flame burning.
