The Level 1 training course is being conducted by Joshua Neuloh, a training instructor at Loughborough training center in Britian.
According to the president of the national swimming federation Samuel Kinimba Ufitimana, the clinic is aimed at equipping local coaches with basic swimming techniques and sports ethics.
"It is the second clinic that we are doing for coaches and we hope that they can pass on their knowledge to the athletes.
"It is paramount that all clubs in the country get a coach who has a level training certificate,” Ufitimana said.
There are currently 8 swimming clubs in the country and they include: Cool waters (Sports view), Town swimming club (kanombe), Dolphins (La Pallise Nyandungu), Cercle Sportif, Zenith (Karongi), UNR, Riviera, Groupe Butare.
