"There are good conditions here. The playing group is nice and they have welcomed me well. The coaching staff is good and I like the place very much."
"My goals for the season are to work hard and help my team fight for promotion. My own long-term goals are to play at the highest possible level and that requires hard work," he added
On his part, club head coach Arne Sandstø was full of praise for the efficient guardsman as he lauded his exceptional qualities.
"Mutsinzi is a national team player for Rwanda who has played at a good level in Portugal,” Sandstø indicated
"He is an all-round defender who is very good, one of the league's best defenders. He is a very exciting player who is in his prime, in his mid-20s. I'm looking forward to seeing him develop here with us," he added.
Mutsinzi started his career with Southern Province-based club Muhanga FC before joining Rayon Sports in 2016. He spent three seasons with the Blues after which he signed for APR in 2019.
He moved to Portuguese club CD Trofense in August 2021 and made a total of 31 appearances scoring one goal before abrogating his contract due to unpaid wages.
On the international scene, he has been capped 14 times by Rwanda at senior level since his debut against DR Congo on September 18, 2019.
