Ideal interiors : Decorate your table with a centrepiece

Bowls of flowers and floating candles make a very pretty presentation for table centrepieces, and have the added benefit of being extremely easy to assemble. I visited The Manor Hotel in Nyarutarama last week, and I was not disappointed, just the way I thought it should look and feel- first because of its name which reminds of The Manor hotel in Mombasa long time ago when we were growing up and second because of the beautiful structure that was shown to me in a picture.

Rosebeauty centre piece

Bowls of flowers and floating candles make a very pretty presentation for table centrepieces, and have the added benefit of being extremely easy to assemble.

I visited The Manor Hotel in Nyarutarama last week, and I was not disappointed, just the way I thought it should look and feel- first because of its name which reminds of The Manor hotel in Mombasa long time ago when we were growing up and second because of the beautiful structure that was shown to me in a picture.

Honestly, I was impressed by the entire hotel and the interior decor which is very impressing. As we sat for our drinks, I could not help but notice a very large goblet filled with fresh fruits in it standing on a corner table looking lovely. This centrepiece was well thought of, and brought out a different air in the bar.

Drenched in sun-ripened yellow oranges, green apples and pinks, this fruit goblet allow the guests at the bar to enjoy intense fruit scents even without the slicing in their drinks! A vibrant and delightfully refreshing focal point for reception tables or side tables, a centre piece is must and would be equally perfect for any table that needs a burst of beauty.

There are many different themes of centrepieces that one can choose from;

Christmas is just around the corner and homes are bubbling with Christmas decorations. Christmas trees are up, wall hangings as well as the wreaths, with only one place being forgotten- the tables. Christmas is symbolic of hope and happiness. Decorative candles, scented candles, floating candles, gel candles, two-sided candles - the choice is wide. Christmas nativity candles bring beauty and cheer to your home or office and use them in a decorative Christmas.

Personalized scented candles come with scented votive gift boxes. Christmas candles have come a long way from the simple prayer candles that were used for Christmas decorating. Pick up designer Christmas candles, handmade and unique. You can find Christmas candles in traditional themes - nativity, Santa Claus, country church or even conical and pyramid shapes. These candles make for magnificent centrepiece during the festive season on dining table.

Other normal beautiful centrepiece can be made of different designs like;

Butterflies flutter that floats gracefully atop a pretty bowl of water in this mesmerizing table centrepiece design - More of the magic which can be created simply with the use of floating candles! Which are readily available in all the leading super markets. One can use the butterfly candles on their own, or combine with floral floating candles to create additional interest within the design.

Also precious goblets of light, with floating candle sticks combine artful mouth-blown glass, with the twinkling light of a floating candle, a very unique and utterly exquisite look for weddings and parties any time of the year. Lovely when set upon the buffet table or for centrepieces adorning your reception tables. Nothing else is needed for centrepieces when you have something this beautiful.

There are also staggeringly versatile, hourglass shaped cylinders that are larger at the top than at the bottom or the other way around, depending on your creative whims and how you choose to use them. By inserting stemmed white rose heads and shell-coloured pillar candles, you can reach your highest standards of elegance with this stunning, white-on-white arrangement. Or get creative, and fill with your own decoration ideas.

If you want to awe your guests with centrepieces which are creative and unique, a stunning glass pond will do the trick. The glistening glass bubbles are nothing short of magical. Candles in unique floating tea light holders glimmer and reflect against the glass bubbles and stones or pebbles, make the base of the design! You can create and re-create with every fill. For a variation on this look, you could consider using floating flower candles with the glass bubbles, especially if a burst of colour is desired. Other possibilities include substituting tumbled glass as the base of the arrangement. Let your creativity roam! Regardless of the combination, the result is certain to be stunning. One thing is sure - your guests will have never seen anything like it before!

Centrepieces can come in as very expensive, but then one does not to break a bank to own one. A simple home made centrepiece is enough to grace your tables for as long as the tables are not left on their own without anything to attract, so get creative this festive season!
