Editor,
I wish to move a vote of thanks to Savannah Diary plant in Nyagatare District for its continous improvement in milk production. Their milk is different in terms of quality and taste compared to other Dairy plants.
However, since the government has selected the milk plant to supply various schools, across the country, with milk, there should be more efforts to increase production.
Currently, the milk plant has the capacity to produce 20,000 litres of milk a day, and 90% of that has a market. This means that if they don’t increase the production, the demand will exceed the supply. We don’t want a situation where milk prices hike, or the quality is compromised.
Continue to supply us your milk and as long as you maintain quality, clients will remain royal to you.
