RWANDAN teams have continued to shine in the on-going East African local authority’s games which opened yesterday at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda.
The regional tournament, which is being held for the second time, has attracted teams from Rwanda, Kenya and hosts Uganda.

AS Kigali stormed the final after a 1-0 win over Kenya. Amin Mwizerwa scored the goal on the 70th minute. They will now play the winner between Kampala City Council and Guru City.

Volleyball giants KVC also look untouchable after back to back wins over Nemo Stars 3-1 and Kenya 3-0.

These games are organized by the East African local authority’s sports and cultural Association. The first edition which was held last year in Nairobi was dominated by Kenya.
