Editor, The news about the proposed shift of the Faculty of Law, from the National University of Rwanda main campus in Huye District to Kigali City, is indeed a welcome development. I totally agree with the NUR leadership that the moving of the faculty is an important strategy for both students and lecturers.
Editor,
The news about the proposed shift of the Faculty of Law, from the National University of Rwanda main campus in Huye District to Kigali City, is indeed a welcome development.
I totally agree with the NUR leadership that the moving of the faculty is an important strategy for both students and lecturers.
Once it’s in Kigali, students will have enough time to interact with their lecturers, many of whom are based in Kigali. Some of the lecturers, due to other commitments in Kigali, have been dodging lectures, and this affects the performance of many students.
I also believe that practicing journalists based in Kigali will benefit greatly following the proposed relocation of the School of Journalism and Communication from Huye to Kigali.
Many journalists need continuous training in order to carry out their trade effectively. I hope many journalists will grab this opportunity and up their game.
