Arsenal should maintain the momentum

Dear Editor,

Allow me to express my views here as a great fan of English football which is greatly followed in Rwanda.

As a fan of Arsenal, many of you will agree with me that the Gunners are in a pole position to claim at least 2 titles this season and end the drought. Sitting on top of the English Premier League table, despite a few defeats in the past few weeks, is an opportunity that should not be taken for granted.

Arsenal can, therefore, not afford any slip ups or dip in form. The players should consider the fans and bring happiness back to the Emirates. Consistence and pedigree are very much important in the next few months as the pressure mounts.

With many injured players returning, Arsene Wenger should have at his disposal good subs and with playmaker Cesc Fabregas returning to action, expectations are high. The Gunners should ease through to the knockout stages with a home game against Partizan Belgrade.

It’s a season where fans don’t expect the gunners to give in to pressure in the second half of the season. It will not be forgivable this time round as the team looks more mature and experienced than in the past two seasons.
