The Blessed Sister

WHAT can one not say about Rwanda’s music scene? From the Secular to the spellbinding Gospel music industry!
Last week, the group, ‘The Blessed Sisters’ hosted a terrific concert at Lamigo Hotel to launch their maiden album ‘Gira Intego.’

They belted out all their tracks, including ‘Arakiza’, ‘Garuka’, ‘Tuyiramye’ and ‘Warakoze’ and their renditions brought them fame and fortune.

When the group started in December 2007, it racked up and garnered the acclaim that made it the classic favourite we love until today.

Full of onstage power, The Blessed Sisters performs inspiring praise and worship music to glorify God.

The group comprises three blood sisters Peace Benedata, 22, Rebecca Barinda, 21 and Docous Assiimwe 19.
With its powerful vocals and performances, the group has touched audiences from secular to gospel music fans.

"The group currently consists of blood sisters, but we intend to recruit even other gospel musicians to expand the group,” Assiimwe said.
