Vibes from Malawi

The Teen Times is one of the most read magazines in Rwanda and Africa especially in Malawi! We are happy to chat with Caleb Faith Thole, a young man from Malawi who is doing a lot to change the face of Africa.

Tell us about yourself?
I am a university graduate currently moving around the African continent meeting young people and motivating them to stand up and solve the problems that the continent is facing!

How do you rate the Teen Times Magazine?
This is a very great magazine; great because it is educative and at the same time entertaining. I cannot miss reading it weekly online! I encourage all young people to follow it up!

Why are you involved with the youth?
The youth are energetic and they are the future of any society. They are also delicate and they need to be handled with care. This care has to come from their leaders and other well-wishers.

What activities do you focus on?
I focus on capacity building and environmental conservation.

You have been to Rwanda during the Nkabom program. How did you find Rwandan youth?
The Rwandan youth are the best. All countries in Africa I have been too, I have never seen such a generation of young people that value their nation.

Any final words to the youth out there?
I would like to encourage all young people to stand up and get involved. Do not sit back and see people making decisions without you having a say! It is now or never. Our continent needs us and we also need it!
