The Tusker Project Fame season four finale, was held yesterday, in an event that brought together East Africans in a night of glitz, glamour and music

Uganda’s Davis Hillary Ntare, who performed Michael Jackson’s ‘"Billie Jean” song  was chosen by East Africa as the winner of Tusker Project Fame, during Sunday night’s spectacular live finale show after eight weeks.

He beat Kenya’s Amileena Mwenesi, Stephen Nyabwam (Steve), and Tanzania’s Peter J Msechu, to scoop the massive Kshs 5 million cash prize, a one-year deal with South Africa’s Gallo Records company, and Premier Plus Medical cover from Resolution Health among the many prizes.

With 15 spots in the TPF 4 Academy and only six contestants having secured their positions in the Saturday’s eviction, four of the contestants had to battle it out in Saturday’s eviction night for a spot with three of them facing possible elimination.

On Sunday’s eviction night, there were four housemates in with a chance of claiming East Africa’s biggest reality TV music show prize – Steve, Davis, Amiellen and Msechu but they were evicted one-by-one, leaving Davis alone to win big.

Uganda’s flag bearer then took to the stage and blew the East Africa away with a high-energy performance of Michael Jackson’s "Billie Jean” song. 

Dr. Mitch then brought the 11 previously evicted in his own rendition. The contestants up on stage one by one, sharing a quick joke with each.

Gaelle Evicted

On Sunday, it was time to get down to business as the TPF 4 official delivered the verified results on stage, to evict the last contestants of the evening.

"I must say, it was hectic, especially in the last week, because you get closer to the money,” Dr. Mitch said.
The very beautiful Gaelle Atete of Rwanda and Rachael of Uganda also saw their dreams put on hold when they failed to meet the judges’ high expectations.

Davis vs. Museshu

While East Africa digested the news that Davis
And Msechu were just one step away from the Kshs 5 million grand prize, different quick performances brought the audience to fever pitch – with the previous contestant including Paleki claimed the stage and performed smash hits.

With East Africa waiting with bated breath, Dr. Mitch took viewers into the reveal of TFP 4 contestants in the Academy.

The winner of Tusker Project Fame 4 is… "Davis you’re the winner... Mesuheu you’ve been evicted!” Dr. Mitch announced.

Davis leapt and stood stunned with tears of joy while his previous contestants and the MCs tried to share with him the joy.

Staying Alive

Dancing his way through the fireworks and jiving onto stage, Davis was greeted by a wall of sound as East Africa paid tribute to the ultimate Star. He wasn’t going to get off without performing his ‘"Shake” to his fans and thanking them for supporting him.
