KIGALI - Senior officers of the Rwanda National Police (RNP), yesterday, concluded a two-day retreat in Bugesera District with a commitment to improve the force’s efficiency. The retreat brought together RNP top brass, including, the Commissioner General of Police, Emmanuel Gasana, his deputy, heads of different commissions and departments and Regional Police Commanders.
KIGALI - Senior officers of the Rwanda National Police (RNP), yesterday, concluded a two-day retreat in Bugesera District with a commitment to improve the force’s efficiency.
The retreat brought together RNP top brass, including, the Commissioner General of Police, Emmanuel Gasana, his deputy, heads of different commissions and departments and Regional Police Commanders.
The officers decided to face the challenges of the 21st century by moving from commitments and policies to action.
They resolved to improve the welfare of personnel, to enable police officers better execute their duties.
This retreat was the third since the current CGP, Gasana was appointed to lead the institution.
In his closing remarks Gasana emphasized the vision, mission, objectives and policies in order to lay strategies for sustainability through cooperation with other stakeholders.
The Police chief called for quality management and reinforcing Police’s activities matching them with the modern trend.
