EACH Amavubi Stars’ player stands to pocket $900 (approximately Rwf529, 650) if they qualify for this year’s Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup quarter finals.

The team’s delegation head Richard Gahonzire yesterday revealed that the team would get cash bonuses for every stage.

"Cash bonuses have been staked for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final so it is up to the team to give their all,” Gahonzire, who doubles as Ferwafa’s marketing officer, said.

The team stands to bag $1000 (Rwf588, 500) for reaching the semi-finals and a further $1500 (Rwf882, 750) for reaching the final.

This year, the winner will pocket $30000 (Rwf17.6m) while first and second runner-up will pocket $20000 (Rwf11.7m) and $10,000 (Rwf5.8m) respectively.
