RUBAVU - Local teams yesterday demonstrated that they are the real deal of the zonal CAVB Beach volleyball Cup after winning all their day one matches.

Flavien Ndamukunda & Jean Luc Mbonyuwontuma together with Pierre Marshall Kwizera and Leo Fidele Mutesi showed good temperament as they trounced their Burundian opponents.

Moments later, Emilienne Uwineza & Jeanette Niyigena and Judith Hakizimana & Charlotte Nzayisenga then emulated their male colleagues with a similar battering against Burundi sides.

Rwanda will now play the winner between Kenya and Uganda in Saturday’s final while the winner between Burundi and Uganda will take on Rwanda’s female teams.
