A three-man Rwandan delegation will participate in the International Youth Symposium which is scheduled to take place in Mumbai in India on December 4. Vincent Ruzibuka who is currently doing an internship with one of India’s premier organizations, Tata Consultancy Services, will lead the team.

Rwanda Renaissance, the organizers of the Symposium has registered delegates from sixteen countries for this event, which is being held as a follow-up to the International Youth Forum which took place a month ago.
Rwanda’s High Commissioner to India, Williams Nkurunziza has expressed delight about the development and hailed Rwanda Renaissance for their continued interest in Rwandan youth, particularly their exposure to global issues and challenges as well as assisting them in building a network of like-minded youth from around the world.
"This level of engagement helps in the internationalization of the Rwandan young people, broadening of their mindsets with regard to entrepreneurship and enhancing their understanding of global issues and the place of their country in the greater scheme of things,” he noted.
According to Clarence Fernandes, the Chairman, Rwanda Renaissance the response they received after the forum last month was very encouraging and that has prompted them to put this programme together.
"Our aim is to use such platforms in highlighting the uniqueness of Rwanda and how young leaders from across the globe can look at this beautiful country in a new light,” he said.
The Symposium will attract participants from Argentina, Benin, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Poland, Romania, Rwanda, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, Tunisia and Uganda. The Chief Guest will be Her Excellency, Madame Eva Drdakova, Consul General of the Czech Republic in Mumbai.
