Dear Editor,

I call upon everyone to always be patriotic and appreciate our musicians. It’s very disappointing when an artist launches their music album or song in concert, and only tens not, hundreds of people turn up.

We need to support them if they are to perfect what they do. What amazes me is how people will turn up in thousands at an international artist’s concert. Believe me; most of these international artists were extensively supported by their compatriots  before they made it big in their music careers.

Music is a language that is understood by many; so let us all give Rwandan artists a chance to explore their talents by financially guiding and upholding them so that the Rwandan music industry gets a boost.
