As the Tusker Project Fame season four competition draws to a close, the remaining six contestants, on Sunday had a chance to perform their own concertos.

They have been writing the songs with the help of the high class Faculty and song writing maestro, Chris Adwar.

First up was Msechu, who chose to sing about serious issues. His Swahili song "Hasira Hasara”, deals with anger in families. The young Tanzanian showed a maturity of vocal execution and stage performance.

Gaelle’s song was about her troubles in the Academy. It was a catchy song titled "Shikilia” and she had a powerful message according to RKay, and even the hard- to-impress Judge Ian lauded, saying that she had made a good effort.

Steve sang a Luo song in his characteristic ‘benga’ style and found his "Nya Suba” in the audience. Judge Ian, however, had a problem with the fact that he had chosen to do a Luo song as the non-speakers would not understand.

The quiet but shrill beauty from Uganda, Rachel performed an uplifting country/reggae song in English and Luganda, where she encouraged people to "Choose to be”; while Davis sang about his love for music and dancing and had the audience blown away with his performance.

Amileena, too, stuck her Afro-neo soul and wowed that audience with her song.

Being the last week of the competition, all the contestants were put up on probation and the judges chose songs for the contestants to sing and these are songs by: Barry White, Whitney Houston, Percy Sledge, Tina Turner, Papa Wemba and Cyndi Lauper.
