Dear Editor,

An article in The New Times of November 23, 2010, titled, ‘50,000 teachers undergo English language training’ caught my attention because it is of a great cause. The training that will equip these teachers with advanced communication skills will also make their work easier.

Therefore, all teachers who are not very conversant with the English language should embrace this opportunity and fully utilize the training given during this programme.
Besides, their students will be beneficiaries too if teachers became better communicators.
