I was impressed by the unity that the Indian community showed last Saturday during ‘Umuganda’(monthly community work) at Kacyiru Sector, Gasabo District.
The fact that the Indian community in Rwanda understands the value of promoting community development through working together is good enough.

I was impressed more by what the General Secretary of the Indian Association of Rwanda said; that they were very pleased to beautify the city that gives them good business environment and enough security.

I would like to encourage more residents and visitors in Rwanda to partake of ‘Umuganda’ as it is not only a cleaning up exercise but a way of uniting the community at large.
