ROYAL WEDDING: Prince William and Kate.

SIR Elton John has declared that he will ‘probably’ perform at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding next year.

The musician, who was a favourite of Prince William’s late mother Diana, Princess of Wales, told Radio 2 presenter Steve Wright of his prediction.

The 63-year-old singer, who is soon taking a role as guest editor for The Independent newspaper, said he would not be commissioning much about the royal date during his role.
Sir Elton famously performed at Princess Diana’s funeral after the lyrics to his hit ‘Candle In The Wind’ were adapted to reflect her life.

The royal wedding will take place on April 29 at Westminster Abbey and Britain will enjoy a bank holiday bonanza straight after Easter.
