Editor,

For more than five years our families are harassed everyday by a group of people that come together at an ex-dormitory of a former secondary school situated at the place called Chez Nsekarije in Kimironko, where they play music so loudly on speakers and also chant endlessly throughout the night.

We have raised this issue so many times during the grassroots meetings and appealed to the local leaders for help but all this has been in vain.

We have also alerted the Executive Secretary of Kimironko and also consulted over the issue with the people responsible for the so called NGO but the issue continues to, instead, worsen by each day.

I would like to use your newspaper to appeal to whoever is in charge of curbing noise pollution to please help us find a solution to this years old issue.

There is no sign that indicates whether this is a church, an NGO or, God forbid; a cult. We do not know who these people are and yet they continue to disturb our peace all through the night.

Someone please help. Thank you,
