RECO/RWASCO should explain the power dilema

Editor,

I am an engineer working on a big project in Rwanda, for the last two years, and I am happy about the hospitality I have received since I arrived here.

However, dear editor, for the last few weeks our project has had a few setbacks due to the power shortage that has made our initial budget go up by 20 percent just because we have to use the a generator which consumes quite a lot of fuel, which as you may know, is quite expensive.

This has been quite inconveniencing for me as the Chief engineer but also for the employees who are paid per hour.
I would like to request the management of RECO/RWASCO to do two things for us. First, I would like to ask the management to always inform us at least some reasonable time before they disconnect the power.

Secondly, I would like the management of RECO/RWASCO to rectify why we pay bills on time but still get interrupted during our working hours.

Thank you for giving me an opportunity to express myself in your newspaper.
