November 20, marked the end of the road for Rwanda’s only TPF 4 male representative, Gilbert Gabiro, as the remaining eight Tusker Project Fame season 4 (TPF 4) contestants, continue to battle for the jackpot.

Gabiro, returned yesterday, where he was received by his fans at Kigali International Airport and treated to a ‘Star’ homecoming party, organised by his family.

During his Eviction party, on Saturday night, the happy go lucky Gabiro had a proper send off at one of Nairobi’s famous nightclubs, Verandah, and his fans thronged in large numbers to see their favorite star, one last time.

It is reported that the star partied with the fans until late when he was whisked off to await his flight back home.

He was thankful to Faculty and even the judges for making it thus far in the Academy. He said that he sees his former competitors for the Kshs 5 million cash prize as his brothers and sisters and was thankful for having met them.

On Sunday night, viewers were treated to two spectacular performances by two of Kenya’s renowned performers.

Atemi Oyungu was first up as she graced the evening, and sang one of her Afro-soul specials; she wrapped her performance with Alicia Keys’ "You don’t know my name” hit.

Eric Wainaina gave a superb rendition towards the end of the show when he chose to sing two of his most powerful and moving songs, "Mr. Politician” and "Nchi ya Kitu Kidogo.”

In honor of this week's theme ‘Africa Remix’, the contestants sang San Fan Thomas' "African Typic Collection" and had the crowd going wild with excitement, as they sang and danced on the stage.

Uganda's Davis and Rachel, however, were the stars of the night. Davis had a superb rendition of Ringo Madlingozi's "Sondela", while Rachel also did a great performance of Judge Julianna's "Nabikuwa."

Rwanda’s surviving representative, Gaelle was tasked with delivering Brenda Fassie's "Vul'indlela" and she was a delight to watch on stage, but the judges felt otherwise. She found herself back on probation. Joined on the roll are Steve, Paleki and Msechu.

The voting system has changed as the public will now decide who gets to stay in the Academy from now on, while the contestants will not have a chance to vote for each other.

Let’s save our Gaelle, by sending as many text messages as possible to "Tusker 1" and send to 7333.
