Archrival clubs APR and Rayon Sport face-off this afternoon at Amahoro national stadium in an exhibition match dubbed ‘Coupe Shyaka’ in remembrance of fallen radio presenter Shyaka Claver, who passed on in August.

APR, top on the Primus National Football League standings and unbeaten with a maximum 15 points after five rounds of matches, face a friendly challenge from their perennial rivals Rayon, who have won three and drawn two, and is placed third on the standings with nine points.

The military side is expected to field their new players who have not featured in the 2010/11 league due to unavailability of international transfer certificates from their former clubs. They include the striking duo of Joseph Bwalya and Kipson Atuheire.

Ernie Brandts’ side will be boosted by influential players Haruna Niyonzima, Jean Baptista Mugiraneza, Jean Claude Iranzi and Mbuyu Twite who all have been declared fit after playing for the national team in an international friendly against Malawi in midweek.
