Following its recent premiere in the country, coupled with the massive eulogize from America and in Europe, ‘Africa United’, a film being hailed as the African version of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ has made it again!

The film opened the Cinema Africa 2010, the only African annual film festival in Asia, which started on November 12, at Chinzanso, and continues until Nov 25, 2010, at National Film Center, in the Japanese capital, Tokyo.

‘Africa United’ directed by Debs Gardner-Paterson and produced by Eric Kabera, attracted more than 200 Japanese celebrities, African diplomats, and journalists, among others.

While at the event, Kabera, who is also the founder of Hillywood, was overwhelmed by the opportunity to see the new positive aspect of Rwanda.

Since its inception in 2006, Tokyo, Cinema Africa has screened various Rwandan films, including ‘100 Days’, ‘Keepers of Memory’ and ‘Iseta’.
