Contestants’ hard work pays off as TPF enters its final stretch. Most of the housemates are settling into the groove of the Academy and have even developed camaraderie with each other.

The Faculty was full of praise for the contestants and Voice Coach Kavutha noted that even Rwanda’s wonder boy, Gabiro, has improved immensely.

They also went on to defend their move to vote for him and denied that it was all a game. Kavutha told them that they should encourage each other and learn how to disassociate the criticisms from the judges on their performances and not take those too personally.

In the afternoon, during Rkay’s session, the music director presented the contestants with their songs for this weekend’s shows.

This weekend, the contestants are doing remixes of some of Africa’s most loved songs including, tracks from Miriam Makeba, Suzanna Owiyo, San Fan Thomas and Khaled. They’re required to bring their own flavor to the songs that they have been assigned.

During their free time, Steve was horsing around as usual with his fellow contestants during their free time and he pretended to be a newscaster from a TV station here in Kenya.

The contestants are also required to work on their own compositions- songs that they will perform later on in the competition. TPF.
